Why can’t any locksmith copy a Mul-T-Lock key?
The keys are restricted. MTL600 keys are protected by patent, and CLASSIC keys come with a coded key card, so they can only be duplicated through authorised Mul-T-Lock dealers.
What is the difference between MTL600 and CLASSIC keys?
CLASSIC is a high security mechanical platform with enhanced pick and drill resistance. Where higher security is needed, with features such as patented key control, we recommend MTL600.
Can one key open all my Mul-T-Lock products?
With the MTL600 platform, a single restricted key can operate all of your Mul-T-Lock products, including CLIQ electronic locks.
